Choose a rhythm from the Match 15C’s button row, set Tempo and Volume with the sliders, and use Start/Stop to bring the accompaniment in. R. Nickel’s firsthand inspection describes a Down Beat indicator and a Maracas switch that adds a maracas pattern to some rhythms. The rear has output and footswitch sockets. Those controls offer preset variation, not a surface for writing each drum step.

A family name in later credits
A 1978 French advertisement offers the related Match 12; it does not date or price this 15C. Later sample-library contents explicitly list ELGAM MATCH 15C, documenting a bank label rather than its recording chain. Rodion and Mammarella’s Musica E Computer credits list Elgam Match 15 among the instruments used at Museo Del Synth Marchigiano. The album’s 18 April 2024 release provides a later working context, but the missing C suffix leaves the precise revision unestablished, and no track or part is allocated.
